Approximately 30 alumni and active brothers met at the A. K. Hinds University Center on January 11, 2020 to fine-tune details for our 50th Anniversary Celebration, to be held at Crowne Plaza Resort in Asheville on June 26-28, 2020.
Many enjoyed lunch together at Kostas’ Restaurant in Dillsboro, and a post-planning brew at Lazy Hiker Brewing in Sylva. The get-together moved back to Cullowhee, where we were guests at the Catamount Club Purple Zone Hospitality Suite and enjoyed a win over Mercer at the Men’s Basketball Game. A highlight was verbal recognition at the Purple Zone and a display of our 50th Anniversary Logo on the brand-new Jumbotron in the Ramsey Center.
50th Anniversary Weekend event registration will open in mid-February, and a link will be sent via our Google Group email list, as well as on our BZ Facebook page that includes all details the weekend. The preliminary schedule is:

8:00 pm Music by Flatbed Ford and 1st Train bands, featuring LXA Alumni.
